With the capability to print both monochrome line drawings and eye-catching full-color posters, the imagePROGRAF TX-4200 MFP Z36 Scanner with Catch Basket 44" Large-Format Printer is designed with production and versatility in mind within the aqueous inkjet market. This 44” large-format printer prints up to 3.3 D-size pages per minute. The 36” Z36 scanner scans up to 13” per second for monochrome prints and 6” per second for color prints, along with basic editing capabilities. Other features include color calibration, LUCIA TD 5-color pigment ink system, intelligent media handling, optional multifunction roll unit, and more!

Z36 Scanner

Workflow is effortless and consistent with Canon's integration of the scanner with the imagePROGRAF TX Series. Similar to the previous model, the 36" lightweight Z36 scanner is positioned on top of the device, providing a compact, all-in-one solution for ease of use.

Intelligent Media Handling

Once the media is loaded into the printer, the printer will automatically find the leading edge and feed the media. From there, the TX-4200 will automatically determine the media type, length, and width, which will be shown on the display panel.

Ease of Use

Built with production and efficiency in mind, this printer features a compact design, semi-translucent ink tank and media covers, an intuitive user interface screen, end-user installable printheads, maintenance cartridges, and hot-swap ink tanks. The user interface screen displays the ink and sub-ink tank levels, media indicator levels, and other setting prompts all on the home screen.

Enhanced Productivity with Built-In Storage

A built-in 500GB hard drive can increase productivity by relieving the workload from the host computer while providing a large capacity for print job data storage and retrieval.

Convenient USB Printing

Direct USB thumb-drive printing supports JPEG and PDF file formats. Simply load your files onto your USB drive, step right up to the printer, and plug your USB drive into the port.

Seamless Wireless Connectivity

With Wi-Fi connectivity, you can transfer technical drawing files and speed up workflow. No Wi-Fi router is needed, providing greater freedom during installation.

Precision Print Head Technology

The six-channel PF-06 Print Head is engineered to work with the printer's high-speed carriage and high-frequency ink ejection to help facilitate fast printing. This printer boasts Canon's notable print-head technology, laying down ink with outstanding speed and accuracy. The PF-06 incorporates a nozzle orifice shape to help minimize mist spray, producing clean lines and text. The high-precision, high-density print head, with a total of 15,360 nozzles, lays down 5 picoliter-sized ink droplets that help produce sharp detail and excellent image quality. The result is a consistently accurate 2400 x 1200 dpi output with fine lines that are accurate to ±0.10% and as thin as 0.02mm.

Durable and High-Quality Pigment Ink System

Featuring a 5-color LUCIA TD Pigment ink system, this ink produces fine lines and sharp text, even on non-inkjet-coated paper. This ink helps provide a balance between bleed resistance, black density, and water resistance not found in dye ink. Combine this pigment ink with water-resistant media, and you have a printed drawing that can withstand many outdoor conditions, especially outdoor job sites such as construction sites.
