LUCIA Ink boasts twelve ink colors: Red, Blue, Green, Gray, Photo Gray, Cyan, Photo Cyan, Magenta, Photo Magenta, Yellow, Regular Black, and Matte Black.
This 12 color pigment ink system provides superior color stability and print longevity while dramatically expanding the color gamut. The large color gamut provided by these inks produces brilliant colors. The addition of gray and photo gray enables smooth gradations and less graininess, creating a crisp monotone output. For increased print longevity, there is more polymer coating for the photo inks compared to previous Canon ink technology. LUCIA Ink particles are formulated to securely fix on the receiving layer of media, which allows these inks to be utilized on a wide array of Specialty Media.
The new ink formulation for Black, Matte Black, Gray and Photo Gray reduces bronzing, while providing stronger ink adhesion to the print media, resulting in better scratch resistance without any additional protection.
