GF 116 1.0 mil Clear Polyester Mounting Film (AE) with Clear Double-Sided Adhesive 54" x 150' Roll

GF 116 print mount film is a double-coated pressure sensitive 1.0 mil clear polyester film with high-tack permanent adhesive on one side and high-tack removable adhesive on the opposite side.

GF 116 features a 4.5 mil clear air-egress PET liner printed with “Remove to Expose Adhesive” on the removable adhesive side. The air-egress liner helps provide smooth, bubble-free application. Air-egress adhesives are for dry application only. The clear liner allows graphics to be viewed after lamination with GF 116. The high-tack permanent adhesive is protected by a 1.5 mil clear polyester liner. This clear mounting film can be laminated by the cold laminating process without the addition of heat.

How do I know which side to apply to the printed graphic and which side is the removable side?
The permanent side goes on the printed graphic. The removable side has blue text printed on it. After applying the GF 116 permanent side to the graphic, the face of the printed graphic will display the words “REMOVE TO EXPOSE ADHESIVE.” This is the removable side that is applied to the glass surface.

What types of applications is GF 116 good for?
GF 116 is intended for application to glass, but may be used on other substrates. Test for your specific applications. GF 116 can be used with graphic film and paper laminations to produce two-sided decals using digital prints, screen printed and other printed images for application to glass. These decals are cleanly removable. GF 116 is not a structural mounting tape. In all cases, the substrates must be clean and free of dust, dirt and oil. This product is not recommended for tinted or laminated windows.

Can GF 116 be wet applied?
No. The air-egress adhesive is designed for dry application only.
