GF 208 7.0 mil White Static Cling Vinyl 60"x150' Roll

GF 208 is a 7.0 mil premium white static cling flexible calendered vinyl film laminated to a 90# layflat liner. The film accepts solvent-based inkjet, UV curable and latex inks commonly used with wide format digital printing systems. GF 208 is designed for temporary applications on exterior glass for up to 3 months. Temperature, wind and rain may limit the bond of static cling vinyl to exterior windows.

What is the best way to apply GF 208, dry or wet?

GF 208 can be applied using either method. For a smooth, bubble-free application, spray the glass and graphic surface and use a wet-edged squeegee to apply the graphic.

Can GF 208 be applied to both the inside and outside of a window?

Yes, as long as the non-printed side is affixed to the window. GF 208 is not intended for inside applications where the graphics need to be read from outside. Applying the printed side directly to a window may result in ink transfer when the decal is removed.

How do I know if my surface is prepared properly before installation?

The surface should be clean, smooth and as close to room temperature as possible. Cold surfaces can reduce the cling of the vinyl. Small decals may be applied dry. For large decals, wet the substrate and decal with an approved application fluid, then use a roller or wet-edged squeegee to apply the decal.
