GF 209 MetroMark® 3.5 mil Matte White Opaque "Transit" Vinyl with Clear Removable Adhesive 54"x150' Roll
GF 209 MetroMark® is a 3.5 mil matte white polymeric flexible opaque vinyl film coated with a removable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and laminated to a 90# layflat liner printed with the MetroMark® logo. The film accepts latex, solvent-based inkjet and UV curable inks commonly used with wide format digital printing systems and can be sheeted for screen printing. Designed for temporary applications, GF 209 offers excellent hiding characteristics for multi-layered graphics and conforms to simple curves. Frequently Asked Questions:
Is GF 209 MetroMark® transit approved?
Yes. MetroMark® is an approved and specified material for multiple transit-related applications, including King, Queen and Tail bus advertisements, opaque removable graphics and layered poster graphics.
Can GF 209 be used as a wrap film?
MetroMark® is conformable and can be applied around simple curved surfaces. The adhesive system provides enough hold to keep graphics in place while allowing for clean removal.
Can GF 209 be applied over existing graphics?
Yes. GF 209 is opaque and can be layered over existing graphics. It can be used for one, two and three sheet subway advertising posters, architectural signage, commercial and retail signage, industrial identification decals, safety decals, point-of-purchase graphics and other decals requiring extended life. Adhesive vinyl products can bond with other vinyl materials, which may prevent MetroMark® from removing cleanly from other graphics.
Should GF 209 MetroMark® be laminated?
Lamination is not required, but it may be used depending on the level of abrasion and cleaning detergents the graphics will encounter. GF 100 series overlaminates are recommended for these applications.
