The Graphtec FC9000-160 is a 64" wide roll-fed cutting plotter built for high-precision cutting of both printed and unprinted media. With Graphtec's advanced ARMS 8.0 registration technology, improved media feeding system, and versatile cutting capabilities, the FC9000-160 is ideal for signage, vinyl decals, print and cut, DTF and heat transfer, window tint, paint protection film, automotive graphics, and reflective media.

High-Precision Cutting for a Wide Range of Media

The FC9000 Series features a newly developed feeding system and cutting head designed to deliver consistent cutting quality across thin and thick materials. The FC9000-160 easily handles delicate media such as window tint as well as demanding materials including high-intensity reflective media.

ARMS 8.0 Advanced Registration Mark Sensing

Graphtec's ARMS 8.0 technology provides precise registration mark detection for accurate contour cutting of printed graphics. The improved white LED sensor and search algorithm can read registration marks on a variety of media, including high-gloss, metallic, glitter, and high-intensity reflective materials.

DataLink Barcode System

The FC9000-160's DataLink Barcode System helps streamline production when processing multiple cutting jobs. Barcodes can link printed cutting data to the corresponding file, allowing the cutter to identify the job, load the appropriate cutting data, adjust settings, and begin cutting with minimal operator input.

DataLink works with a combination of RIP software and printers, as well as Graphtec's Cutting Master 5 and Graphtec Studio 2 software, helping reduce manual job handling and the risk of production errors.

Handles Thin and Thick Media

A re-engineered media feeding system expands the FC9000-160's cutting capabilities beyond traditional vinyl. Additional push rollers can be used for increased precision when cutting heavier or more rigid materials, including rubber and high-intensity reflective media. Three pressure settings provide strong media hold-down while helping minimize track marks.

Contour & Die Cutting

Separate tool positions for contour and die cutting make it easy to produce decals, labels, graphics, and other applications that need to be cut and popped out from sheet or roll media. This design also helps extend the life of the blade and cutting strip.

Optional Take-up Reel System

The Optional Take-up Reel boosts production efficiency by automatically winding finished rolls of media using an equipped infrared sensor. The system can automatically wind rolls of media up to 65 feet long, helping streamline longer cutting jobs and reduce manual media handling.

The optional take-up reel system is available for the Graphtec FC9000-140 and FC9000-160 models.

Software Included

The FC9000 is compatible with Graphtec Studio 2 and includes the Cutting Master 5 plug-in for Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW Graphic Suite. Graphtec software supports both PC and Mac workflows and can be connected through Ethernet or USB.
