Should I buy the 730 or the 630?
Both print 64 inches wide, but the 730 steps up in speed, fabric support, automated double-sided printing, and white-ink capability (on the 730W). Does the Latex 730 print white ink?
No — white ink is available on the 730W and 830W models, not the standard 730. If white-ink applications like window graphics and high-value stickers are central to your business, the 730W is worth the step up: its new drying system prints white in underflood and 3-layer modes faster than the older 700/800 series.
How fast does the Latex 730 print?
Up to 334 sq ft/hr in 4-pass mode, 226 sq ft/hr in 6-pass, and 183 sq ft/hr in 8-pass. Prints come out instantly dry, so there's zero drying delay between printing and finishing — a major throughput advantage over solvent.
How does it keep color consistent?
HP Pixel Control manages ink mixing and distribution for uniform color, and the embedded spectrophotometer handles color profiling automatically. The result is sharp 4-point text and consistent output job to job — backed by the 3M MCS Warranty and ICS Performance Guarantee for outdoor durability.
What's included, and what warranty comes with it?
The box includes the printer, printheads, maintenance cartridge, ink collection units, printer stand, take-up reel, edge holders, and setup tools. HP includes a one-year limited hardware warranty; extended HP service plans (2–5 years) are available separately. Universal printheads and a long-life maintenance cartridge keep upkeep simple.
How much space does the Latex 730 need?

This printer is intended to work only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip, and it uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked.
